İDİL GAZİULUSOY is Assistant Professor of Sustainable Design and Leader of NODUS Sustainable Design Research Group in Aalto University. Her research deals with long-term, systemic and structural changes that are required to achieve sustainable futures. In this talk, she will present the background and findings of her “coincidental” research on how parents experience raising children in climate change times.

TAPIO PESOLA is Senior Advisor for Investor Relations at Miltton Capital Markets. He is also a happy father of two children and one of the co-founders of Ilmastovanhemmat ry (Climate Parents Finland). In 2015 when the Paris Climate Agreement was signed, he was the chairperson. In his talk, Tapio will discuss reasons becoming an activist, experiences from the early years of the Ilmastovanhemmat ry association, and what was learned from it.
