Talvikki’s doctoral research explores how knowledge work is organized in post pandemic Finland. By exploring the hybrid work practices and experiences of Finnish knowledge workers, she uncovers what work designs emerge and will be needed long-term. In her research she closely collaborates with Finnish organizations and has developed a set of cultural probes to study Finnish hybrid work environments. Her research is situated at the intersection of design and organizational research and she is particularly interested in the work design literature.

Talvikki holds a BA in Design (Aalto University) and an MA in Collaborative and Industrial Design (Aalto University). She has also studied design during an exchange semester at the Hongik University in Seoul, South Korea (2017) and an exchange year at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, SAR (2019-2020).
